What we ask
of you.

SOY handles the logistics. As the teacher, your focus is on your community, your content, and your craft. Here's what that looks like in practice.

How it works.

  • 01 _ Discovery call

You book a call with Joan. We talk about your vision, your community, your preferred destination, and which tier fits best.

  • 02 _ Planning and booking

SOY sources and secures the retreat center, builds the itinerary, and handles all venue coordination. You review and approve.

  • 03_ Promotion

Your retreat goes live on the SOY website. SOY creates the marketing assets. You promote to your community.

  • 04 _ The retreat

You teach. Your participants experience something transformative. SOY (or a dedicated guide) handles everything else on the ground.

  • 05_ What's next?

Most teachers who start with Tier One naturally evolve into Tier Two and Three as their retreat community grows. We grow with you.

  • The transformative experience offered by the School of Yoga, under the masterful guidance of its founder, Joan, was truly exceptional. The setting for this enriching retreat was a haven of tranquility; the retreat center itself was impeccably maintained, boasting lush, stunning grounds that provided a perfect backdrop for deep practice and introspection. Crucially, the center's location was ideally situated, offering easy access to a breathtaking, semi-private beach resort in the vibrant coastal region of Goa, India, allowing for moments of peaceful contemplation by the ocean. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Joan’s comprehensive yoga teachers programs and her profoundly insightful retreats. The School of Yoga is not merely a place of practice; it is a source of the profound wisdom and authentic transformation that Joan so generously and the profound wisdom she shares through the School of Yoga. Many thanks and looking forward to the upcoming classes in March 2026 and future retreats.
