About the Practice

Twenty-Five Hour Virtual Training on Zoom

Learn how to integrate the five koshas into your practice and life!

Sequencing a yoga class is a journey from our outer layers to our deepest center. Sequencing a vinyasa flow class in an intelligent way is a skill that can leave students feeling transformed! An intelligent practice can enhance each layer and bring a deep sense of interconnectedness to the body, mind, and spirit.

We begin with the anatomical layer to stabilize our physical body and ground our being. We integrate the subtle body and work with the many layers of the mind to find deep stillness, which the yoga sutras call Nirodha.

What brings us to the deepest core of our being is understanding the many layers called the Koshas and how to integrate our subtle body into our practice. This creative training will teach sequencing and how to integrate the many layers of our being into the journey of yoga practice.

Each day will open with a long deep practice integrating breath work and a themed-based practice. Joan will unpack the sequence afterward and will discuss how she structured the sequences together.

You will have access to three of her zoom classes during this training along with four two-hour practices. Sequencing has many layers, combined with a deep understanding of the postures and how to access the subtle body, yoga practice can transform your Being!

The full program will be offered live via Zoom.

Recordings will be made available for students and for anyone who is not able to join us directly.

For those seeking a YA credit, there will be a homework assignment to assimilate the material. You will receive 25 Hours towards Yoga Alliance.
